Welcome to PCWritings Version 5.0, November Edition. The Last Edition's Winners were amazing. You can see the winners here. We hope this November Edition will be great. Rooting for all the participants. 

I'm currently taking in pitches from all parts of the country - Nigeria. If you are a writer, this is an opportunity to enhance your skills or boost your Portfolio. Submission of content starts from November 14th and ends on December 5th, 2023. 

As a writer, you’ll get the chance of winning a fabulous prize:

1st Position - 20,000 
2nd Position - 15,000
3rd Position - 10,000

 

Guidelines

Here are the guidelines you need to note. We urge you to strictly follow them. Ensure you read them before taking any actions. If any of them are not followed, your content will be disqualified.

Who You Are

  • Currently a student, a freelancer, or a worker.
  • Have an idea about what content writing, copywriting, or storytelling entails.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must have experience with whatever concept you are going to cover.

What To Do

Draft out 1500+ word content (with necessary screenshots) that explores any concepts. Here, topics are not given to you. You will think of any topics to write. 

You advised to "Write Anything Readable."

Other Requirements

  • Content must be written in a first-person point of view and must be in the form of storytelling.
  • If you are not writing from the first-person point of view, ensure it still follows the pattern of storytelling.
  • Plagiarized Content will be rejected.
  • ChatGPT or any AI-generated Content will not be accepted.
  • Your content should be at least 90% human. Check on the Copyleaks AI detector on that or click here.
  • Apart from the topic, Meta Title and Meta Description must be provided. Search what those two entail and work on that.
  • Ensure coherence, check the content on Grammarly, and check readability on Hemingway (6 to 9).
  • All technical terms must be written in an easy-to-read language.

Post-Submission

  • All selected candidates will be contacted between the 6th of December to the 7th of December.
  • They will be provided with SEO tools to edit their content there with a 2-day deadline.
  • All the content will be published on the 9th of December, 2023 and the prize will be disbursed that day.
  • They will be celebrated here on this website and other platforms with their names and pictures as the winners.

First Position

  • You'll be authorized as the owner of the content. This means your name will be written under the content as the owner. 
  • However, the copyright will be for the website.
  • You can refer to the content as part of your portfolio.
  • Your Profile picture with your social media platforms (Twitter and LinkedIn) should be provided.

Second Position

  • You'll be authorized as the owner of the content. This means your name will be written under the content as the owner. 
  • However, the copyright will be for the website.
  • You can refer to the content as part of your portfolio.
  • Your name with your profile picture should be provided.

Third Position

  • You'll be authorized as the owner of the content. This means your name will be written under the content as the owner. 
  • However, the copyright will be for the website.
  • You can refer to the content as part of your portfolio.
  • Your name with your profile picture should be provided.

Note

Note that if you are chosen, your content will be published under the short stories section
